MMWOL was created in 2001 by Richard Wootton. Starting out as RED Information and Computing it was originally a teaching and training resource for students. Richard was asked to build other websites for colleagues and friends and from there the seeds of MMWOL began. In 2005 RED IC became Manage My Website Online and adopted Joomla! as its software of choice for building websites that customers could manage themselves online.
